Hello DD !!
Quick questions :

Favourite sites ?
Omblèze, Claret, Calanques...

  How did you start climbing?
I did a 3-pitch climb in Corsica with a rope tied around my waist when I was 6 years-old then I did some in middle school (13-14 years old).

  What motivates you ?
In Competition

To give one’s best and raise the level of climbing beyond one’s capabilities.  When I reach that level, I’m often on the podium. When the “Marseillaise” is being played, I get a feeling of great satisfaction and emotion.

In Rockclimbing

The pleasure of climbing and ascending.

In Bouldering
Being with a group of people, the movement, the feeling of the rock, the satisfaction and the freedom one gets when one exceeds expectations, which is so much a part of this discipline.

In Mountaineering

The landscapes, the wide open spaces, managing risk and effort…

How do you see this sport evolving ?
Climbing is getting more and more popular and that will naturally push these disciplines towards a higher level and the Olympics.

What is your best memory ?

Climbing with Dani Andrada the 300m route, “El viaje de los locos,” that he and I put up in Sardinia.

What is your worst moment ?

The frostbite I got on my hands and feet when I climbed the 400m “Costanostra” for the first time at Glandasse in the Vercor with Greg Sauget.

What kind of food do you eat?
Good, quality food, 100% organic when I’m at home.

What do you listen to ?
Soul, Salsa, Jazz, Rock and Blues get me moving and dancing...
